Baptism class 7 pm 1st Monday, of every Month

Requirements for Baptism
* Children must be under the age of seven to be baptized as infants.  

CLASE: The parents and godparents will need to complete a training course which is held the 1st monday of each month.

Children over the age of seven, which is the presumed age of reason, must attend Religious Education before receiving the sacrament.  Please text the Deacon Larry for more information regarding this program.

* Los niños menores de siete años pueden ser bautizados como infantes. 

 Los bautismos son solo con cita previa. Los padres y padrinos tendrán que completar un curso de capacitación que se lleva a cabo el primer lunes de cada mes.   

 Los niños mayores de siete años, deben tomar parte en clases de Educación Religiosa antes de recibir el sacramento.  para más información Contactar a Deacon Larry.

 Registration for the First Communion:
1.  Parents must be members of the Parish or if your child received his or her Faith Formation in a different parish, please obtain a Letter of Assurance from this organization.

2. Complete Registration Online or in Person.

3. Provide us with a copy of your child's Birth & Baptismal CERTIFICATE

4.  Pay the class registration fee in person ($35 or $25 additional)

El sacramento de la Eucaristía se celebra junto con el sacramento de la Reconciliación al finalizar el grado. Este período de preparación consta de dos años.

Inscripción para la Primera Comunión:

1. Los padres deben ser miembros de la parroquia o si su hijo recibió su formación en la fe en una parroquia diferente, obtenga una carta de garantía de esta organización.

2. Complete el registro en línea o en persona.

3. Proporciónenos una copia del CERTIFICADO Nacimiento y de BAUTISMO

4. Pagar la cuota de inscripción de la clase en persona ($35 y $25 cada niño(a) Adicional)

 Through the sacrament of Confirmation, we receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit and renew our baptismal promises.  One also becomes more aware of the presence of the Holy Spirit through the anointing of chrism oil and the laying of hands by the Bishop.  Confirmation enriches the baptized with the Holy Spirit such that we commit to living a life of maturity in the Christian faith.

Those who are looking to receive the sacrament of Confirmation should work towards building a more intimate relationship with Christ such that they are more ready to take on the responsibilities of living a Christian life. (CCC1309)

Preparation for Confirmation here at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church is a two-year formation process.

Mediante el sacramento de Confirmación recibimos los dones del Espíritu Santo y renovamos nuestras promesas bautismales.  Por la unción del aceite del crisma y la imposición de manos por el Obispo somos más conscientes de la presencia del Espíritu Santo.  La Confirmación enriquece al bautizado con el Espíritu Santo y lo compromete a vivir una vida de madurez en la fe Cristiana

Aquellos que desean recibir el sacramento de la Confirmación deben tener como meta conducir al Cristiano a una unión mas intima con Cristo a fin de poder asumir mejor las responsabilidades de la vida Cristiana. (CCC1309)

La preparación para el sacramento de Confirmación en la Iglesia Our Lady Queen of Heaven es de dos años.

Calendar for OCIA meetings are on Wednesday from 730pm to 9:00pm From Sept 11th through October 23rd, 2024. Starting November 6th all classes will start at 7pm through May 7th, 2025
